	Relax and enjoy The Animal Park lies in the middle of a massive boulder-strewn area of Goldau and is home to a variety of wildlife. On 34 hectares of natural wilderness deer, bears, muflons, lynx and birds of prey can be observed close-up. Around 90 native and European species have found a home that meets their requirements in their ample enclosures. The Animal Park can be visited throughout the year. Young and old have lots to see and discover. The animals walking freely between the enormous rock formations, the picnic areas, the guided tours, the exhibitions, the zoo information stands and other attractions encourage people to meet the animals – 365 days a year!

	Enjoying nature with all your senses In spring and summer the Animal Park is an exciting adventure for the whole family as one can reunite with nature and feed and stroke the animals that walk freely in the park. The kids can let out steam on the play ground and the food eaten in the cozy picnic areas tastes better than ever.

	A paradise for small exlorers For children there is a thrilling but safe kids paradise with a giant slippery dip, swing sets, teeter-totters, watch towers, sandboxes, merry-go-rounds, paths and climbing nets. Parents can watch their children in the comfort of the restaurant area. Barbecue sites and picnic areas Fresh air whets one’s appetite: There are several picnic and barbecue areas with free fire wood available. Eating in the magnificent picnic areas of the Animal Park is a special experience for young and old.

	Proposals

	Restaurant Located in the heart of the park, our self-service restaurant provides a wide range of food and beverages. Enjoy your meal with a view over the pond and the spectacular landscape surrounding it. With 100 seats inside and approximately 400 outside, the restaurant is a popular meeting point for clubs, companies and families. Light meals and snacks can be purchased at the Diana Kiosk, on top of the walkabout. Zoos are amazing places for learning! Explore the Animal Park with a guided tour, admire the animals while they are being fed and get information at the zoo information stand. The Animal Park rangers will be happy to provide an answer to your questions and to give interesting information about the animals and their way of living.

	Discoverers are welcome The entrance to the Animal Park is situated only 400 meters from the railway station of Arth-Goldau. A large car park is available nearby. By car Motorway A4, exit Arth or Goldau. Only 50 minutes by car from Zurich and Aarau. >> the next train.. (SBB)
