The Nature Reserve and Wildlife Park Goldau is located in Central Switzerland in the middle of a wild, romantic landslide area. More than 100 species of wild European animals live in an area of 42 hectares. Many of them are endangered. The spacious animal enclosures are situated in between giant rocks and give the park its distinctive charm.
The park was founded in 1925 and is now a nature conservation center and recreation area.
Employees organize exhibitions, guided tours and camps for children and young people and offer visitors the chance to get up close and personal with native animals in an area where they roam freely. Staff are also committed to international projects aimed at conserving endangered species and reintroducing them to the wild.
